This is a really difficult time for everyone, so I thought I would share a short message to help with some guidance on how this might affect your interaction with me at my clinics.
COVID-19 is going to have an effect on our lives for the foreseeable future, and there are some changes to the way I will consult with patients for a while. In addition to this, for your safety and the safety of healthcare workers, the Government has postponed almost all elective surgery.
My team and I are very much still at work and here to support you whether you are recovering from surgery, interested in having an operation in the future, or have an urgent need for a face-to-face consultation.
Most non-urgent consultations are being conducted via a link to a video consultation platform. However, if you need to be seen or have the need for an urgent procedure I am still performing operations according to Government guidelines.
If there is a need to visit any of my offices, we are requesting that you do not come if you have any symptoms of cough, fever, sore throat or fever. Your temperature may be checked at some of my clinics and we will provide hand sanitiser on entry.
To get in touch with us during this time, the usual means of contact apply. For general enquiries and to get in contact with my assistant Caroline, you can email us at email@example.com or call on (03) 9828 1307 Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm. For nursing related support, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope that as restrictions ease we will ready to resume operating as soon as possible. In the mean time, be in touch if you need to!
